Situations this scope can address

  • A new device or electronic product needs technical definition and prototyping.
  • Sensors, displays, motors, relays, actuators, or communication modules must be controlled.
  • Existing equipment needs an embedded controller, firmware change, or communication interface.
  • An automation panel or simulator needs reliable physical controls and feedback.
  • A proof of concept is required before committing to a complete product or installation.

Project boundary

Responsibilities, dependencies, and exclusions are agreed first.

Power, electrical interfaces, sensors, actuators, communications, firmware, displays, mechanical constraints, client-supplied equipment, test fixtures, procurement, installation, and acceptance responsibilities are defined for each engagement. Enclosure design, certification, volume manufacturing, certified electrical work, and production procurement are separate unless explicitly included.
